Carnival
Students Stepped Wright Up! to dunk their principal and teachers during last week's carnival. It was all part of the Back to School Carnival that the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Committee planned for students. The dunk tank raised $190 to help pay for outdoor seating and umbrellas off of the cafeteria. The SEL committee created the carnival where they encouraged students to Step Wright Up! to be kind leaders in our learning community. Watch the videos of students dunking staff.

District 103 News
COVID Testing for Students
The District will offer a weekly COVID-19 PCR testing to all families and staff members free of charge. This year, the District has partnered with the University of Illinois’ SHIELD program to provide the tests. We have also partnered with Passport Health & Preventive Health Partners, our Operations Partner, to collect and prepare the tests for analysis.
Additionally, we will continue to provide onsite antigen testing using the BinaxNow tests for individuals exhibiting COVID like symptoms or suspected of having COVID. The BinaxNow tests will be administered at school with results in 15 minutes. Parents will be contacted prior to antigen tests being given to your child.
Testing is voluntary and will require consent to participate. If your child were to test positive, your child would need to be excluded from school and follow the guidelines listed in the IDPH Guidance. For information on testing, please refer to the FAQ document.
If you wish to participate in PCR or antigen testing, please complete the consent and waiver form by Monday August 29, 2022. Please complete a separate form for each child that will participate in testing.
