From the Principal:

We are entering one of my favorite times of year--October to December is always full of lots of activities at school and at home. October is definitely full of activities at LSRO!

October is Volunteer Month at Life School, and we are partnering with The Oaks to fill bags for needy children. Please refer to your child's grade level newsletter for specific items needed for each grade level.

Next week is Early Release. School will dismiss at 11:55, and all students MUST be picked up by 12:25. Late fees will be enforced for students not picked up by 12:25. Teachers will hold conferences that afternoon.

Please stay up to date with all that is going on at LSRO during these next few busy months! Stay connected through our website, Remind, and our Thursday Exchange newsletter.

Finally, our first nine week's report cards will come home tomorrow. Please be sure to look for it in your child's folder.

Thanks for your continued support!

Counselor's Corner

The LSRO character trait for October is TRUSTWORTHINESS. Students are learning that being trustworthy means being reliable and following through with what we say we will do. It also means practicing honesty and sincerity when we talk to others.

Don't Forget!

  • It is very important that you have your hang tag hanging from your mirror and student card visible each and every time you are picking up students.
  • All visitors will be required to submit a driver's license/ state id and have it scanned in order to be admitted into our campus. Please be prepared for this when you come to the office to check in.
  • Parents please do not drop your students off until our doors open at 7:25am.
