Padlet Features
In the past, students have created audio or text book reviews on Padlet, and they recorded in Soundcloud first. Now, Soundclound doesn't allow you to record-but Padlet does! Check out the video below to see how it works and other features of Padlet! I can see this as a great place to collect speaking assessments or other speaking activities! You can record on a mobile device, too, but you must have the app first. Click the image to the right to see all the options to upload! More Info
Pixabay Add-On for Google Docs
Last month, I shared how Google Slides has a great add-on for images, Unsplash. That add-on gives instant access to Unsplash's collection of free, royalty-free photographs. No need to cite or credit the photos since they are part of the public domain. Now, Google Docs has an add-on, too! PIxabay, another of my favorite places to get free to use images and icons, can now be a part of Google Docs. Simply get the add-on, search for an image, and click to add it to your doc. See how it works below. Links to both add-ons are included above.
Use Powerpoint and Word more? PIxabay also has a Microsoft Office plug-in now, too!
