Lovejoy Letter Campaign
It’s that time of year again to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff with our Lovejoy Letter Writing Campaign! Many of you are familiar with this beloved tradition, but for those of you who are not, it is the time of year when current and past students and parents write appreciation letters for each of our teachers and staff members across the district.
The letters do not have to be elaborate or lengthy. The goal is just for people to write a note of thanks to show gratitude to their teachers, the staff and administration in our district. It is an opportunity for us to take the time to let each person who makes a difference for us throughout the school day know how much we value them.
Please clearly label the envelope with the staff/teacher’s name and LLC (Lovejoy Letter Campaign) and return the letter to the box located in the designated area at your school no later than Friday November 11th.
The letter writing campaign has become such a meaningful tradition in our district. We really appreciate your time and effort to help us tell our teachers and staff thank you for all that they do!

Landscape and Garden Help
We have a great opportunity this Saturday, October 22nd and November 12th from 9am-12pm to keep our landscaping and garden areas at Willow Springs beautiful. Do you know that the WSMS native landscaping areas in front of the school and the garden areas in the back were all installed by student-led service projects in the last few years? They’ve been blooming, growing and attracting lots of beautiful birds and butterflies!
It is now time to refresh the beds by adding new layers of compost and native mulch. We can only do this with your help! Feel free to bring your whole family!
We will bring donuts and sign service sheets! Thanks for helping us GROW at WSMS!
