We Scared Hunger!
Thank you for your contribution this year of ……..
598.6 lbs / 229 students = 2.61 lbs/student. Great job, I look forward to your input and support for next year’s program!! I think how you do your collecting with the bingo cards it perfect to get what you need for your community. No wonder Porcupine people have such awareness, they are taught early!!
All of the food collected will be used to fill our Christmas hampers, which ensures that everyone in Porcupine Plain and surrounding communities have a very Merry Christmas.
If you are in need or know someone in need of a Christmas hamper this year, please contact the school with the following information...
- name and address of the person in need
- number, ages, and genders of any children in the home (through a partnership with POP we are able to provide gift hampers as well).
If you submit a name, please contact the person and let them know that a hamper will be delivered the week of Dec 16 after school.
Thank you for your support of our program.

Info You Will Need
Parent Drivers
1. Complete a Driver Authorization Form and an SGI Driver Abstract Release Form, both of which can be obtained from the office or the coach/supervisor of the group you are willing to drive for.
2. Bring in your driver's license so that we can make a copy or bring us a photocopy of your driver's license.
Along with this, Dan or Stacey needs to see...
- a current criminal records check (this is pretty standard for any situation in which you will be alone with kids).
- a copy of your policy that shows that you carry $2 million in extra liability (this is above and beyond the basic package policy). This is an NESD policy that is now fairly common among groups that transport students.
We appreciate parents that are willing to help us out and drive and appreciate that the process is a bit onerous. However, it is intended to safeguard both our student safety and the monetary (liability) security of the driver. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school to discuss.
