Finally, before students go looking for their perfect outfits, please have them look over this year’s dress code. Nothing super restrictive, we’re just putting it down on paper. Let’s keep it classy!.

Prom 2022 Dress Code

To ensure that students are dressed appropriately and to avoid any awkward situations at the door, we are notifying you of the following dress code for prom this year. Prom is a formal and special night for students. We hope to maintain the integrity and formality of this night by implementing these simple dress code suggestions. If you have questions concerning your attire, it is your responsibility to seek prior approval from the administration.

A prom is a formal event and formal attire is expected.

Formal prom attire may be classified as a dress, tuxedo, or dress suit including tie or bow tie and dress shirt, optional vest or cummerbund, and dress shoes.

Guidelines for dresses include:

● Dresses may be strapless (if they fit properly) or include spaghetti straps.

● Dresses may be backless, as long as they are not cut below the navel.

● 2-piece dresses may only show a modest amount of midriff.

● Dresses may not have a slit that exceeds mid-thigh.

● Dresses may not be cut below the bust line.

● Undergarments should not be visible, but mesh in the midriff section is permitted

If you are bringing a date from another school, it is your responsibility to make sure he/she adheres to the dress code

Thank you so much for keeping these guidelines in mind when picking out your perfect outfit. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
