History
The magical Disney theme park Magic Kingdom opened on October 1, 1971 in memory of the creator of our star character Mickey Mouse, Walter Elias Disney. This park is also dedicated to fairy tales and the characters. The park divides in five iconic lands; Main Street USA, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.
Main Street USA is dedicated to the parks opening credits, it is the first thing you see when you arrive to the park. It’s also dedicated to important figures in the USA such as presidents, and people who contributed to the park's opening.
Adventureland represents the discovery of something new, engaging more adventures and the discovery of new lands. It’s themed to show different parts of Africa, Asia, Middle East, South America, and South Pacific. Some iconic rides are The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of The Caribbean and much more.
Frontierland represents the American old west, from cowboys to Native Americans and exploring new lands, American rivers and much more. It contains the attractions Big thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash mountain, and Country bear Jamboree.
Fantasyland is themed in a medieval carnival style, it is now expanding its boundaries to bring visitors the joy of looking inside of the Disney Princess’ castles, such princess’ include Belle from The Beauty and The Beast, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Ariel from The Little Mermaid and more! It also includes the attractions Peter Pan’s Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mad Tea Party and lots more.
Tomorrowland is themed as an intergalactic city, it resembles how the people saw the future in the 1950s, such as rockets, UFOs, robots etc. it includes the attractions of Space Mountain, Stitch’s Great Escape, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger spin and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.
