COME TOGETHER IN PRAYER

PRAYER is a primary work of God's people. It is a vital connection to God where we can hear from, listen to, and respond to the Lord. We encourage you to pray for these requests during the week.

Special Prayer Requests

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer. (1 Peter 3:12)

  • Virginia Salzman is having extensive spinal surgery on Tuesday and will remain in the hospital for some time.

  • Harry Holtrust is recovering from bladder surgery, during which the doctors discovered cancer. Pray that all of the cancer was removed and that it will not return.

  • Jim Marcum is in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery and is having a difficult time.

  • For patience and strength for Red Crawford and his family as they care for his wife, Sarah, who is experiencing many health concerns and is suffering.

  • Pray for Norma Hitchcock who is now home and experiencing difficulties due to her cancer.

  • Protection for our military, law enforcement, first responders, revival in America, and God’s wisdom for the President and political leaders.

MISSIONARY OF THE MONTH

CCC contributes to the financial support of 19 missionary couples, 3 individuals, and 6 missions agencies in the United States and 11 foreign countries.

Melissa

Melissa is working in an Eastern European country ministering to Albanians with the goal of seeing a church planted.

Prayers:

  • Patience as I try to connect with others, meaningfully, in Albanian, but have to start with the basics.
  • More opportunities to practice speaking Albanian.
  • Wisdom about which ministries to become involved in.
  • Courage and clarity for when I talk about the gospel with friends who aren’t Believers.
Praises:
  • My Albanian language teacher is great! Her language program is very detailed and I've made a lot of progress.
  • God has begun to provide friendships for me here and an Albanian friend asked me a question which gave me the opportunity to share the gospel with her (in English). That was an exciting opportunity!

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE

Christ Community Church is blessed to offer dozens of ministries to our church family and to the community around us. But we couldn’t do what we do without the help of hundreds of volunteers. Check the list below and see where you can serve.

  • The Care Portal Ministry brings the needs of hurting children and families in our community to our attention. As Child Welfare workers uncover the needs, they then connect to Tucson Churches like us, allowing us the opportunity to engage and make a difference. Come join the Tucson Care Portal team as we make a difference in the lives of children and families in crisis! Call the church office and give us your email, and you will be a part of the CCC team! Contact Pastor Floyd for more info. fmorgan@ccctucson.org
