A holiday for Malala Yousafzai
by Brooke Nickell
Introduction
Is there a person who you think deserves a national holiday? I think Malala Yousafzai would be worthy of the honor. Malala is a young gill who grew up in Pakistan, right now she is still in her late teens. At 12 Malala won the Noble Peace Prize, and I think we should honor that.
Bravery
First, Malala was brave. When the Taliban invaded Malala kept going to school, she spoke out in public and she had a blog called ''Diary of a Pakistani school girl''. If the Taliban had fond out they could have killed her.
Perseverance
Secondly, Malala perseveres. Once Malala was shot in the head by the Taliban, she was rushed to a hospital and she almost died, but she kept learning and speaking out. Nothing could stop her!
Th Nobel Peace Prize
Third, Malala was a trail blazer. Malala was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on December 10, 2014 when she was 12 years old. Shes the youngest person ever to win the prize.
Conclusion
As you can see, Malala is a girl worthy of a national holiday ''All I want is an education'' she once said, and she kept going and going until she finally won her country's education back!
