Test at Home Update

As of April 4, 2022, and as public health conditions in Vermont relative to COVID-19 continue to improve, the Test at Home program will be discontinued in Vermont schools. With the conclusion of these testing programs, staff and student households may make an appointment at a State of Vermont testing site to obtain up to eight rapid antigen tests or one LAMP test per appointment for their use at home.

Uniform Swap - Mark your calendars!

Saturday, April 30 from 10:00am-12:00pm


Bring gently used, like-new condition uniform pieces to swap. Remember these items will be worn, as new, by other students. Please launder all items beforehand, and cull any stained, painted, or ripped clothes; those cannot be incorporated into the swap.


We are not able to accept uniform items ahead of the swap; please hang onto them until then. If you are not able to attend, you may drop acceptable items, bagged at the front of the school at 3:00pm or later on Friday, April 29. They will remain there until the start of the swap on Saturday, April 30.

Girl Scout Cookies!

Girl Scout Troop #61654 from Wolcott, VT will be hosting a cookie booth starting at 2:45pm on Monday April 4th. Each box is $5 and only cash will be accepted. We have all types of cookies (Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, LemonUps, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, ToffeeTastic and S’Mores)!
  • Did you know that three BJAMS students are in this troop? Kaylee Hanna (8th grade) Angelina LeRiche-Forkey and Eleanor Weaver (1st grade) are all scouts!
  • We also have availability for more Scouts in our troop if your daughters are interested - grades K through 12. Please email Emily Weaver at emilybondvt@gmail.com if you have any interest.

Flynn Summer Camps!

All camps at the Flynn are on a sliding scale/pay what you can system. These camps are concentrated on social emotional health and using the arts as a holistic educational opportunity.

The Flynn is currently offering:

New Cardboardia - Let's build New Cardboardia! The active imagination gets a full workout with this immersive cardboard utopia that we will construct. Ages 6-8

Moana Jr. - There’s a place for everyone in this two-week youth theater program! Campers will work with our experienced teaching artists to create a fun and joyful musical production full of acting, singing and dancing. Ages 6-10

Integrated Arts: Sticks, Strings, Moving Things - The Flynn, the ECHO Center for Lake Champlain, and King Street Youth Center join together to offer a two-week arts immersion exploring local ecology through puppetry, sculpture, and performance. Ages 9-12

Teen Summer Musical: The Lightning Thief - The program will include daily skill building workshops, a focus on community building, and will culminate in a professional level performance on the Flynn’s Main Stage. Open to all experience levels. Ages 13-18

Yearbook production is wrapping up!

Reserve your copy by Friday, April 15.


Yearbooks are available on a pre-paid basis only. There is no limit to the number you can order, at just $20 each. Make checks payable to BJAMS with "yearbook" on the memo line. Cash will not be accepted.


Checks can be delivered to the front office or Mrs. Curran, or deposited in the drop box outside the main entrance or in the Pre-K wing hallway.
