Bus Routes & Bus Safety

This year, the District is asking parents that are capable of transporting their child(ren) to consider doing so to help minimize the number of students on each bus. Parents of students in grades K-4 should inform their teacher of how their child(ren) will get home each day. A final safety tip for students in grades K-2 is to have a notecard with the child's name, phone number, address, and parent name left in the student's backpack for emergencies.

Bus Safety

  • Bus times will vary the first several days of school
  • Arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled bus time
  • Wait for the bust at least 6 feet away from the road
  • Wait until the bus comes to a complete stop and the driver gives the okay to board
  • Use a sidewalk when available
  • Buses will be sanitized after the morning and afternoon routes
  • Sibling riders will be assigned to the same seat when appropriate
  • Masks must be worn during ridership for students in grades 5-12
