It has already been a great week for our teachers and staff, and there is still more to come! Thanks to your generous donations we had a snack bar on Monday, a mailbox drop on Tuesday (Nothing Bundt cakes coupon) an awesome breakfast on Wednesday (Eight Corners Market/Pizza) a mailbox drop today (Starbucks gift card) and tomorrow we will have a catered lunch (Jersey Mike's Subs). We are feeling the love!
Very special thanks to Ashley Pillsbury, our PTA President, who has gone above and beyond to organize and carry out this wonderful week of appreciation for our staff. We are so grateful!

**Last Call** WENTWORTH GARDEN ~ FLOWER POWER FUNDRAISER
April 7th- May 7th
Wentworth School Garden is an outdoor classroom! We integrate as many subjects and teaching possibilities into our garden area as possible. This winter we installed a new and larger greenhouse. We have seed for our first crop...spinach! We will create natural habitat by adding native plants that will bring diversity to the bird population we attract. We are also going to continue to donate to food pantries this season. Please help us grow our garden as you grow yours!
Go to this link and order. Plants will be shipped directly to you and we will receive 50% of the cost: http://WentworthSchoolGarden.fpfundraising.com
Do you know you can donate without even knowing it?!
Visit smile.amazon.com to get started
Login into your Amazon account and a portion of what you buy will be donated back in funds to support the work and efforts done by the PTA. Choose a charity, search for Wentworth PTA location Scarborough Maine. This option does not work through a mobile device

Last Call! 5th Grade 2022 Language Preference for MS
Due date: May 6th, 2022
Dear 5th Grade Families,
As we begin planning ahead to next year, it is time to have your child indicate his/her Middle School language preference. Now that your child is completing 5th grade World Language we would like to have you complete this survey with your child. With Introductory World Language classes being offered at Wentworth, Middle School World Language study provides students an even deeper experience with one language over 3 years.
At this time, we are asking that you have a conversation with your child about their language preference; French, Spanish or Either. Please complete this form by May 6th. Your indication here is not a guarantee of language placement; at the same time, we will do our best to honor preferences to the degree that scheduling will allow. If feedback is not received by the due date, school staff will move forward with placement decisions.
