Field Trip February
Sponsored by the Hadfield PTO
Help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 for the Hadfield Field Trip Fund! 100% of donations go towards Hadfield Student Field Trips! The goal of Field Trip February will be used to offset the costs of field trips in 2015-16 and beyond. Watch our progress towards our Field Trip February goal on the giant thermometer near the office! See the link for more information.
5th Grade Course Selection
The middle school counselors are speaking to all of the fifth grade students to talk about next year and course selections. We understand that there may be some uncertainty for parents as well as the students regarding transitioning to middle school - especially surrounding course selections. In order to help the transition, we have created a presentation with narration on how to fill out the middle school course selection sheet. Please take a moment to view the presentation and help your child fill out the course selection sheet.
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your attendance area school. Thank you and have a nice day.

The School District of Waukesha is committed to providing high quality science education to all students. We ask that each family complete this survey so that we can best meet the needs of all students. Please answer the questions, based on your entire experience as a whole, not just the current school year.
Your answers will give insight to the ways we can best instruct and build our curriculum, so your time is greatly appreciated.

VEX IQ Robotics Program - Grades 3-5
For the 2nd year in a row Hadfield is elated to continue after school robotics club. The VEX IQ Robotics program will start on Monday March 7, 2016. The 2016 game is VEX Challenge Bankshot. Students, with guidance from their teacher will aim to build the most innovative robots possible and work together to obtain the most points possible. In addition to just having a great time and building amazing robots, through their participation in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition and their work within their team, students will learn many academic and life skills.
An electronic form was emailed on February 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. to register for this program. There is only space for 24 committed and enthusiastic 3rd to 5th students.
Labels for Education
Hadfield Elementary is now collecting and redeeming Labels for Education!
Through the program we can collect UPCs from participating products to earn points that can be redeemed for FREE educational merchandise!
It’s easy to help – simply save UPCs from participating products and drop them off at Hadfield Elementary (in the office or give to your child's teacher). Just look for this image on many products you already use - from Campbells to V8 Splash to Bic.
Thank you for your support. Together with the Labels for Education program – we can build a better school for our children.
