Lincoln's Weekly Bulletin
10.07.2022
Hello Lincoln Families,
We had our first P.R.I.D.E. School Wide Event today. Congratulations to all students who where Present, who were Responsible, showed Integrity, who were Disciplined, and Engaged during this progress report. Students were able to enjoy a movie, sports, arts and crafts and more. Encourage your child to qualify for our next PRIDE event by following our reward and recognition guidelines.
Safety is very important at Lincoln for both students, parents and residents alike. We ask that all parents and caregivers help us explain the importance of following all safety rules to and from school.
Remember to:
- Look both ways as you cross the street,
- Wear a helmet at all times if you are on a bike, e-bike or skateboard.
- Ride on the proper side of the road, with traffic, not against it, and
- Make eye contact with other drivers, especially at intersections to make sure they see you before crossing.
We appreciate all your help in reviewing these simple reminders and helping us keep all our students safe.
We now have lunch and after school tutoring available. Please see our tutoring information below.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact our office at 760-901-8900 or visit our school's website for more information.

Warning: One Chip Challenge
A popular social media challenge called the One Chip Challenge is growing with kids and schools. A chip company called Paqui is selling “eye-watering, curse-inducing chips made with the hottest peppers on the planet” according to the Paqui website.
The chips are known to cause symptoms such as difficulty breathing, fainting, extended nausea, and food-related allergies.
In schools, eating the chips are causing health offices to become overloaded with students and students are missing class dealing with extreme symptoms.
Please talk to your student about the seriousness of eating or providing these chips to others. Chips brought to school will result in disciplinary action.
