Cache

Cache memory stores regularly used items of data so they can be accessed more quickly.

Virtual

When the main memory (RAM) is full, the operating system will store data on an area of the hard disk drive, which is called virtual memory.

RAM

RAM is volatile, and loses its data when the electricity is turned off. It stores data currently in use in a computer system.

Hard Disk Drive

The HDD is the permanent store of data in a computer system.
