Monthly Newsletter~June Issue
2021-2022 School Year
Dear Delaney Families,
It's hard to believe that it's already June! I want to thank you for your ongoing support throughout the year. I am truly grateful to be a part of such a wonderful school community.
I'd like to thank you for your input in the placement process. Teachers and staff members continue to work on the important task of putting together classes where all students can find academic and social success. Placement information will be sent out in August.
Our kindergarten registration page is up and running. Please click here for information on kindergarten registration. You may contact me with any questions or concerns.
I hope that you and your families have a wonderful summer vacation. Please feel free to reach out to me over the summer with any questions.
Sincerely,
Miss Kathleen Maloney

Welcome to the Staff
Thank You!
Thank you to our wonderful PTO for their ongoing support! The Staff Appreciation Week events were absolutely incredible and very much appreciated. The playground now has new toys and games for the students to use, and additional equipment will be installed over the summer!
Thank you to WEST for their continued support. Our students and staff continue to benefit from the generous grants awarded each year!
Thank you to Tavern In the Square for the catered lunch provided to the Delaney School staff in honor of Staff Appreciation Week.

Continuing to Learn Over the Summer
Our WPS scholars have learned many things this year and there are some additional resources your children will have access to while they are enjoying the summer with your family to maintain their learning momentum. Reading daily (even for just 15 minutes a day), along with practicing math skills during the summer months, can help to prevent regression to start the 2022-2023 school year with confidence. WPS families will receive more information via email from Dr. Beauchaine by June 10th about the Summer Reading and Math Learning Activities available on our website.
Family Wellness- Message from Dot Pearl

If you are interested in supporting a committee to plan and support parent wellness education programming for the four districts, please email me at pearld@kingphilip.org.
