Geography Population, and History

Spain was founded on Sept 15, 1821. It is a country in Central America, bordered by Mexico from the north, west and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. It is the home to 16.02 million people and the known language is Spanish. The country has three main regions which consists of tropical, cool highlands and tropical jungles.

Spain's people are composite of Mediterranean and Nordic types Spain produces large crops of wheat,barley, vegetables, tomatoes, olives, sugar beets, citrus fruit, grapes, and cork. Spain is the world's largest producer of olive oil and Europe's largest producer of lemons, oranges, and strawberries. Spain cuisine consists of Tortilla Esapanola. Another huge part in Spain culture is music and clothing. Spain isknown for their percussion bands featuring the marimba , the international instrument. Clothing consists of brightly yarn colored textiles, capes, blouses, shirts, skirts and dresses.


The tourism in Spain is the best part. The best places to visit are Barcelona and the Madrid. The capital, Madrid, is home to the Royal Palace and singular Prado museum, housing works by Eurpoean masters, and Segovia to the north has a fairy tale medieval castle and Roman aqueduct. Catalonia;s capital, Barcelona, is defined by Antoni Gaudi's quirly moderinist architecutre, including the Sagrada Familia basilica.
