State Street Scoop
Issue 13 - December 15th
Principal's Corner
Dear Families,
Please take a moment to see the electronic version of the Zones of Regulation by color which helps our students identify their feelings. It also offers suggestions of how to regulate your body when you are feeling a certain emotion. A paper version was also sent home so post it on the refrigerator and model for your child how you feel and what you do about it. If you are angry, state that you are angry and in the red zone. Model how you take deep breaths, or get some space, or use your words to communicate your needs. The School Improvement Team appreciates your partnership. Remember, all zones are OK! Utilizing appropriate strategies is a goal for all of us!
Sincerely,
Audrey Faubert
