Measures of Academic Progress
The purpose of the 1-5-15 is to offer quick notes on using MAP in your classroom. My sincere hope is that whether you have 1, 5, or 15 minutes that this bulletin and the content within it will have an impact on you and your classroom. Furthermore, I hope that the topics shared spur further conversation with your colleagues.
1 - Minute
Take a moment to generate the following MAP reports prior to viewing the videos. This will prepare them for you and allow you to review/refer to your own reports while watching the following tutorials. (Disclaimer: This does not mean you need to print them, as some are interactive reports and can be many,many pages.) These reports are available to you in your "Reports Queue" for 14 days and you can also save them as files for future reference.
Generate: Learning Continuum, Achievement Status and Growth Report, Student Goal Setting, and Student Profile Reports. If you are unsure how to do this, watch the videos first and you will learn the steps to generate your reports.
5 - Minutes: View the following video to learn how to use the learning continuum to drive classroom instruction
15 - Minutes: View the following videos to learn how to use additional MAP reports to improve student learning.
