- November is a funny week with our schedule - please note the section below that identifies NON school days as well as some EXTRA EARLY RELEASE days (12:30 dismissal).
- This week is Red Ribbon Week! Please note the section below that identifies the dress up plans for each day
- Each year, LCES partners with the local Lion's Club for a Holiday Food Drive - all the collected items stay in the local Lincoln and Sheridan communities - teachers will have boxes from 11/1-30 to collect contributions in. Thank you for your support!
School Safety Updates
Also, big thanks to our WatchDOGS dads for providing some extra visibility in our MPR on Election Day so we can ensure our campus is safe - we appreciate them!!!
Bond Measure H is all about providing funds for school safety, athletics & aquatics - LCES has big plans in store if the measure passes. You can learn more here.

Fri., 11/9 - Extra Early Release Day
- all TK/K attends from 8-11:20 am
- grades 1-5 attend from 8:15 am -12:30 pm (lunch will be served)
Mon., 11/12 - No School - Veteran's Day Observed
Tues., 11/13-Fri., 11/16 - Extra Early Release Day
- all TK/K attends from 8-11:20 am

Sat., 11/16-Sun., 11/25 - No School - Thanksgiving Break
Red Ribbon Dress Up Week!
This week, we encourage you to talk to your students about making healthy choices and saying no to drugs. We'll celebrate our commitment to these ideas by dressing up each day!
- Monday, 10/29: "Sock it to Drugs" (crazy socks)
- Tuesday, 10/30: "Too Bright for Drugs" (neon/sunglasses)
- Wednesday, 10/31: "Say Boo to Drugs" (Halloween costumes or spirited items)
- Children MUST be able to use the restroom independently if they come in costume
- No weapons, no masks, nothing that might be scary for younger kiddos (remember we have a TK on site!)
- Consider sending your child in spirited items and saving the costume for the evening!
- Thursday, 11/1: "Give Drugs the Boot" (country western day)
- Friday, 11/2: "Put a Stop to Drugs" (wear red)
