Mrs. Hladun's Tidings

Four important things to note:

  1. Our fall conference scheduling website is up and ready for families to sign up. We aim to meet with every family in the weeks before Thanksgiving to review your child's progress. The online scheduler site, password, and instructions are available on the main page of our website - click here!
  2. November is a funny week with our schedule - please note the section below that identifies NON school days as well as some EXTRA EARLY RELEASE days (12:30 dismissal).
  3. This week is Red Ribbon Week! Please note the section below that identifies the dress up plans for each day
  4. Each year, LCES partners with the local Lion's Club for a Holiday Food Drive - all the collected items stay in the local Lincoln and Sheridan communities - teachers will have boxes from 11/1-30 to collect contributions in. Thank you for your support!

School Safety Updates

Based on feedback from our spring family survey, we recognized that the position of Pam's (our amazing secretary) desk prevents visitors from seeing a friendly face during busy times and lunch times. We've been working with various vendors to get a redesign of Pam's desk organized - our goal is to improve her visibility to and from the front door of the office. Big thanks to our PTC and the School District for contributing the $3700 and the human power that will be required to make the redesign possible. Look forward to seeing the transformation later this fall!

Also, big thanks to our WatchDOGS dads for providing some extra visibility in our MPR on Election Day so we can ensure our campus is safe - we appreciate them!!!

Bond Measure H is all about providing funds for school safety, athletics & aquatics - LCES has big plans in store if the measure passes. You can learn more here.
