Good Evening Mayfield!

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break and had a great week at school. The end of the 1st semester is quickly approaching. When we leave for Winter Break on December 17th, we will have completed half of our school year. That is truly remarkable if you think about how much our students have grown since starting back in August. We are proud of our students and staff.

Here at Mayfield, we need to continue to work on the areas that we focused on at the beginning of the year. Our students and staff did tremendous jobs as they worked to build strong communities within their classrooms. We need to continue to build strong relationships among all our students and staff. Strong, positive relationships will continue to be the key to our success.

The Mayfield Winter Chorus Concert is this Tuesday, December 7th, 7:00 PM. We are so excited to be once again hosting our winter concert series. Ms. Hellebuyck and our 5th and 6th-grade students have worked hard to prepare for this great concert. We are excited to welcome the family and friends into Mayfield as we celebrate the winter season!

Postponed The Orchestra Concert Scheduled for Monday, December 6th has been Postponed

I'm sorry to inform our orchestra students and families that the Winter Orchestra concert scheduled for Monday, December 6th at Metz Middle School needs to be postponed. Mr. Tressler and I are both sad that we will not get to see our Mayfield Bobcats Orchestra perform, but unfortunately, we will not be able to put on a show for you.

I will work with Mr. Tressler to figure out how we can have our orchestra students find another way to show the community how much they have grown as musicians.
