Four components of blood.
The four components of blood are:
1. Plasma
2. Red blood cells
3. White blood cells
4. Platelets
Four components of blood described.
1. Plasma is a pale yellow liquid component of blood that makes up about 55% of the body's total blood volume.
2. Red blood cells only survive on average only 120 days.
3. White blood cells account for only about one percent of your blood.
4. Platelets play an important role in clotting and bleeding.
What does each component of blood do for us
Red blood cells carry oxygen and nutrients to all parts of the body.
White blood cells fight Bactria and viruses.
Platelets clot your blood to keep it from draining out.
Plasma is the main component that keeps its form.
