Since we know you are coming from a great distance to celebrate, we did a little research to help your stay be more comfortable and interesting.

There is the Chestnut Hill Hotel, rates start at $137/night, including parking. THe Chestnut Hill hotel is located in the hart of the neighborhood, near many shops including salons, the farmers market and a CVS. The hotel is about 10 minutes from BTBJ and 15-20 from the party.

The Double Tree Plymouth Meeting. - Rates start at $139/night with full brunch included. located next to the Plymouth meeting Mall and easy access to the PA Turnpike & Blue Route. It is about 10 minutes to BTBJ and about 30 minutes home from the party. The hotel also has a pool, fitness room, and other amenities.

Ruby's Mitzvah Project

Although Ruby is the kind of kid that does a Mitzvah whenever possible, she has a special project - she loves DOGS! - just in case you didn't know. Have you ever walked down the street with her, and she sees a dog! You must stop, pet, and talk to the pet parent about the dog, and your dog -KODY!

So... it is the dogs that will benefit from her kindness. She has chosen to raise money for PAWS, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, and MLAR, Main Line Animal Rescue.

In the Fall of 2012 Ruby was sooo excited to begin planning for her Bat Mitzvah, she decided to get started right away on this project. She organized, and managed an event at the Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting called Dogs4Dogs. She sold hot dogs for $2 - $1 for PAWS and $1 for MLAR. The house band from the Ft Washington School of Rock (her brother helped out too) entertained the folks and the dogs that came out to enjoy an Hot Dog. She raised over $600 to share between the 2 charities.

This spring she will organize another event to raise more money and awareness at another concert with FT Washington SOR house band. Check FB for details!

Another project she is helping out with is the costumes for the PWHS musical - In The Heights - The Colonial Players are the 1st HS to perform this in the state. Ruby loves to create and knows how to sew, so she thought she would help out! How fun!
