Field Day

Field Day is coming up this Friday! We're hoping for sunny, dry weather... Please be on the look-out this week for information from the PTO on schedules, etc.

The coordinators are currently looking for volunteers to participate in the "silly shower." This station is in place of the dunk tank and is a little less physically demanding. :) If you are interested in participating, please let me know!

EOY MAP Results

The district has asked that MAP results go home with report cards at the end of school. Each learner will need to receive the MAP Progress Report (which shows BOY, MOY, & EOY for individual learners, the district, and nationally).

You may share a student' results in a conference prior to these reports going home, but please let them know they will be incomplete. They will not yet include the district average. That will be included on the printout that goes home with report cards.

Volunteer / PTO Thanks

A big THANK YOU goes out to Brandon and the Parent/Community Committee for planning two special events Monday. The Volunteer Breakfast (Monday morning) and the PTO Appreciation Dinner (Monday evening) both take some work on our part, but they are a small way for us to show our appreciation for all of our parents/community members that partner with us.

They are also a great way for us to show how much we appreciated being spoiled by our PTO last week!

Thank you Jodie and our PTO volunteers for another successful Book Fair! A tremendous amount of work goes into this, and it showed!

Austin Summer Work

Based on feedback we received from Team Leads, Jenny has been working with Louis to have boxes delivered to Austin. They can help you get started in our storage areas and your classrooms.

Please continue sending any questions/concerns my way. I can pass them along to Louis and find out an answer for you as quickly as I can!
