Recollection this Sunday
High School AND College Students
Dear All,
We hope you had a MERRY CHRISTMAS and are enjoying the cooler weather today!
Please start off the New Year on the right foot and join us January 1st for the Morning of Recollection at Chaucer Drive Study Center. (All the important bowl games will be in the afternoon anyway ;)
The recollection is an opportunity to spend some time once a month reflecting on our relationship with God and how we can get closer to him. It is a great way to begin the year of 2017! Since many college students are home, all high school and college students are invited.
Also, mark your calendars for the next Grade session which will be on Saturday, January 14th.
See you soon,
Alex

Morning of Recollection
A morning of recollection is like a mini retreat where you can spend some time in silence with God and reflect on the direction of your spiritual life. There is time for prayer, spiritual reading, and an examination of conscience. There is also confession available and Sunday mass will be offered. It is a great opportunity to re-"collect" yourself and make good resolutions (both spiritual and material) for the month to come.
Here is the schedule:
10:00: Arrive, examination of conscience, spiritual reading
10:30: Holy Mass
11:30: Talk
12:00: Meditation (time of prayer), preached by a priest in the chapel
12:30: Snack
12:45: End
