How to Make a Bully From Scratch Video by Dr. Becky Bailey
Dr. Becky Bailey is the creator of Conscious Discipline, our Social Emotional Learning program.
Her work is based on the foundations of Emotional Intelligence and Brain Research.
Dr. Bailey has now created videos that provide guidance and strategies to support children at each of the 5 Road Signs from the "How to Make a Bully from Scratch" video. I have linked the first strategy video "Bullying Road Sign #1 - Critical Interventions for 0-3 years"
To access the other 4 strategy videos "Bullying Road Sign #2, #3, #4, & #5" go to the Conscious Discipline Website @ Consciousdiscipline.com and select the Free Resources Tab and then the Video Gallery.
Football Game Supervision
We have one more home football game on October 13th, if we work together we can assure it is a safe one! At the start of each home football game the announcer reminds families that children are to be supervised when playing on the playground or other areas surrounding the football field. The intent of this message is to remind families that it is their responsibility to watch their children while at the football game as childcare is not provided by the district. We want our football games to be safe for all and we need everyone's help to keep it safe. Thank you for helping to keep our football games safe for all!

Greetings from the Art Room,
The first Art Club meeting will be on Thursday, October 5, at 8:00 AM. Art Club is open to students in grades 3-6. Art Club will meet every Thursday in the Art Room. Students are encouraged to attend this first meeting to find out if they are interested in being a member for the rest of the school year. What happens during Art Club? Members usually make sculptures, drawings, or installations that can be seen around the entire school. Stop in at our first meeting on Thursday to see what we will be making this year!

Our PACE fundraiser this year is Shop with Scrip!
Scrip allows PACE to make a profit from gift card purchases towards items that your family already buys!
We are hoping to raise sufficient funds with Scrip gift card sales so that we don't need to do any other fundraisers this year.
Our first order date is Sept 29 but we will have 2 more order dates this fall.
Families can pay by personal check (sent to school) or by setting up automatic payment online.
Families can order gift cards by creating an online account or by filling out the paper order form that came home with your child.
Once your order is delivered to the school you may pick it up at the pre-arranged times listed on the order form or contact one of the coordinators for an alternate pick-up date.
Please spread the word to friends and family--gift cards make the perfect birthday/holiday presents!!
Happy Shopping!!

Hats Off To The Cadott Youth Football Team
It’s not too late to join the Adventure of Scouting!
Our activities for the year are just getting started! All boys K-5 are invited to experience the Adventure of Scouting with Pack 65 here at Cadott Elementary. New this year, Kindergarten families can participate in our Lion Program with Pack 65 as well!
Cub scouts always have a blast during the school year! We hike, go camping, go fishing, play sports, build projects and visit all sorts of cool places! There’s also the ever-popular Pinewood Derby in the Spring, in which boys design, build, decorate and race their very own cars against other boys in the Pack! One thing is for sure, no matter what our Cub Scouts are up to, we have FUN!
As Cub Scouts, boys will learn about many things, including citizenship, physical fitness, outdoor skills, sharing, teamwork, self-confidence, respect for others and good character. Cub Scouts is open to boys in Kindergarten through Fifth grade this fall (ages 5-11).
Please contact Matt Dienger at 715-563-3354 or mdienger@bsamail.org for more information, or register online at https://my.scouting.org/VES/OnlineReg/1.0.0/?&tu=UF-MB-637paa0065
