Board Meeting Details

1. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m.

2. Approval of Meeting Agenda

The agenda was approved.

3. Reception

A reception was held to honor outgoing board members Nicholas Begley and Kenneth J. Ashman.

4. April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election Results

At 7:00 p.m., President Montgomery officially read the results of the most recent election, confirming Ryan Kuo, Mitchell Dornfeld, and Rosie Bonar as the duly elected members of the Board of Education.

5. Seat Board Members/Oath of Office (Policy 2:80)

The three newly elected board members jointly took their oath of office.

6. Adjournment Sine Die

The meeting adjourned for the purpose of electing new officers.

7. Appointment of President Pro Tem

President Montgomery was elected President Pro Tem.

8. Appointment of Secretary Pro Tem

Mrs. Wener was elected Secretary Pro Tem.

9. Election of New Officers (Policy 2:210)

New officers for the newly seated board were elected as follows:

President: Mrs. Montgomery

Vice President: Mr. Kuo

Secretary: Mrs. Wener

10. Approved 2023-24 Board Meeting Dates

The approved board meeting dates for the upcoming year were presented to the newly seated board for informational purposes only.

11. Open Community Participation

There was one speaker who wished the newly seated board well.

12. Board/Superintendent Other

Mr. Simeck and Mrs. Montgomery each made comments thanking Mr. Begley and Mr. Ashman for their service and looking forward to the work ahead for the newly seated board.

13. Adjournment

The meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
