FOX FAMILY UPDATE
Dear Fox Family,
It is hard to believe it is already Spring Break – a week when we will get to enjoy a bit of time to rest and recharge. After that, it is back to work to finish this year strong! We have much to do and, as always, we appreciate your involvement and support! Just a reminder there is NO SCHOOL next week. School will resume on Monday, April 3rd. Have a great Spring Break!
On this last day before spring break we came together as a school community to celebrate our March Madness Basketball incentive assembly. Each grade level had the opportunity to challenge staff members to a basketball shootout. We were even able to play a game with some students. A huge thank you to Mrs. Vujaklija for announcing the game. A special thank you to Superintendent, Dr. Barnes for being our referee, Assistant Superintendent, Mr. Nedlik and Curriculum Director, Dr. Ward for joining in on the fun. Last but certainly not least thank you to our amazing Mayfield High School Cheerleaders for coming over to cheer us on!
Please feel free to call our office at (440)995-7500 or email me at lravida@mayfieldschools.org if you need anything.
Keep Smiling,
Mrs. Ravida
Principal, Gates Mills Elementary

STATE TESTING
Testing Tips
- Make sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before the test.
- On the morning of the test, your child needs to get up in plenty of time so he/she won't feel rushed.
- Feed your child a good breakfast. Research shows that children do better on tests if they have had a good breakfast.
- Encourage them to simply do their best.
