District Goals 2018-2019
- Focus our work decisions on/around our district strategic plan.
- Identify areas of achievement to improve.
- Provide Chick-Fil-A and Moes like customer service for internal and external community.
- Strengthen the structure and quality of communication both internally and externally.
- Promote a work and learning environment where students and staff feel safe physically, emotionally and socially.
DFES Goals 2018-2019
- Exceed family expectations in our communication, follow through, and sharing student progress.
- Strengthen grade level data team processes to accelerate student growth and achievement in mathematics.
- Implementation of student-led conference across all grade levels (as identified in DFES strategic plan).
Updates on DFES Goals
- Data Teams All grade levels are data teaming around mathematics (Drayton/Jefferson - data teaming with ELA). Data teams meet the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursday of each month. Each data team has been working focused on unwrapped standards and choosing a power standard that is to be aligned with a common formative assessment.
- Student Led Conferences was written and included in our school's strategic plan. This past Thursday Dr. Mills led discussion on envisioning possibilities and learning from teachers in our building who began this process last year. The template below was designed by Dr. Mills as an option for grade levels to consider for use or as an inspiration for their upcoming conferences led by students.
