CAR RIDERS, WALKERS & BIKE-RIDERS

CAR RIDERS, WALKERS & BIKE-RIDERS

Students who are car riders, please remain in your vehicle until you are released by a staff member.


Students who are walking or riding a bike to school may not arrive on campus until 8:05 AM (9:05 AM on late-start Fridays).


We are unable to provide student supervision until 8:05.

BISON FAN DAY!

BISON FAN DAY!

Our first Bison Fan Day will be on Tuesday, September 19th, for the ETMS Football game.


This is a fun activity where students get to cheer on the ETMS Football Team. Any 6th-8th grade student may sign up. Students will need to be picked up at 5:45PM .

ETMS PTSA

For the 23-24 School Year, the ETMS PTSA has two immediate openings for President-Elect and Treasurer. The ETMS PTSA board is looking for individuals who are interested in serving the ETMS PTSA in an officer position to finish the current terms. These terms end at the end of the school year. If an individual is interested in continuing to serve, they can run for the same position or another position per the bylaws in the Spring Elections. Officers have to be members of the PTSA. If you are not a current member, we can help you obtain membership prior to joining.


The board will start reviewing applications the week of September 24th. Any questions can be directed to email etmsptsa@gmail.com and we will do our best to answer quickly.

STUDENT SUPPORT

Student Support is a top priority. LSR7 provides school-based services, such as counseling, conflict resolution, and crisis support through partnerships with Burrell Comprehensive Mental Heath, The Center for Conflict Resolution, and ReDiscover. These partnerships provide support for students and families during the school day.

If you would like to learn more or utilize these supports, please contact our Counseling Center at 816-986-2578.

BOOK OF THE MONTH!

Check out our first Book of the Month!


Each month a new book will be featured. Students interested in reading the Book of the Month should stop by the library to sign up and check out a copy.


All who participate will be invited to the Discussion with Donuts (including a gluten free option) with Mrs. Brown, the school librarian, and any other staff who participate.


The first Discussion with Donuts will be held Wednesday, October 18 during TRAIL Time.

If your student will be absent from school, please call in the

absence by 9:30 AM to the Attendance Secretary

at 816-986-2577.

The attendance voicemail line is available 24/7.

END OF DAY - TRANSPORTATION

We ask that you notify the office prior to 3:00 with any transportation changes for students that day.

This timeline allows us to communicate these changes to the teacher, while also supporting the daily routines and processes that occur during this busy part of the day.

Student checkout:

It is difficult to check students out after 3:00 PM. If there is a need to check students out early for an appointment, please avoid the 3:00-3:15 PM timeframe.


Thank you for partnering with us to ensure the safety for all ETMS Bison during dismissal.

ATHLETIC EVENTS - ETMS

Student spectators may not attend ETMS athletic events without an adult.

Bison Fan Days are the exception.
