Learning at PELC
Thank you for your cooperation as we took steps to ensure a smooth start to the new winter term. During the week of November 16-20, families were asked to notify the school of any changes to their family's learning preferences. Now that we've made our adjustments, we're happy to move full steam ahead! The next opportunity to make a voluntary change to the way your child learns will be at the end of the reporting period, which falls in early March.
Winter Break - No School
Taking a Trip?
While the work that is sent home with your child during an excused absence may resemble virtual learning, there is no need to request to "go virtual" during that time. In fact, their designated mode of learning will remain the same. Simply fill out the form as it has been done in years past and we'll take care of the rest.

Cold Weather Reminders
- Please label ALL outerwear with your child's name
- Help your child make smart choices when they get ready for school each day. Some mornings have already been cold enough for winter coats, hats, and mittens.
- Children will not play outside at all if the temperature drops below zero degrees or if it is heavily raining.
Updates from our Parent/Teacher/Student Organization
