5th Grade Parents
Each year a $45 user fee is required by the parent in order for their child to take part in the 1:1 Chromebook Initiative. This yearly user fee is then applied to the purchase of the device over the four year period and covers the cost of some minor damages. In an effort to keep annual cost down, payments will begin during your child’s fifth grade year.
However, during fifth grade, students will house their device in their classroom at school. This allows the teachers the opportunity to help students learn the responsibility of taking care of their device and better preparing them for the transition to sixth grade. At the conclusion of your child’s fifth grade year, students who have paid the user fee will be eligible to take their device home.
The $45 user fee will then be collected again during your child's sixth, seventh, and eighth grade school years. Once all payments have been applied, the device will be yours to keep.
Submit the $45 User Fee or begin the process of a payment plan
