Do you feel pressured to work harder, faster, and smarter to achieve success? Are challenges at home, work, or in your social circle weighing you down?

We drive ourselves as if everything depended on us, yet the stress we carry on the inside can undermine our ability to meet our challenges. We forget the Lord holds all things in His hands; we can trust Him to line up the circumstances of our lives to work out His perfect will for our good.

What monumental task are you facing today, friends? Are you carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders as though everything depended on your efforts to make it happen? Is that project at work or your responsibility to raise children making your shoulders heavy? Maybe you’re struggling with trying to make everything okay for a loved one experiencing challenges.

Whatever undertaking you’ve embarked on at work or in your personal lives, remember God is with you. Of course, God works through our efforts, but we can rest in knowing that ultimately the grace and favor we need to complete any task and do it well come from God.

As much as we think everything depends on us, God is the one who establishes the work of our hands and grants us success. He is the one who can give us favor before our boss, co-workers, or loved ones.

Let us pray together:

I commend to you every task I need to accomplish today, and I pray you would give me the grace and ability I need. I entrust those I love into your care. Please bless my work and my relationships today.

Staffing Update:

Hi everyone! My name is Gaby Calawerts and I am so excited to be a part of the team here at Holy Cross as a Spanish teacher. I am from the Howard-Suamico area and am a recent graduate from UW-Eau Claire with a Spanish Education degree and TESOL minor. I am who I am today because of my past teachers and hope to do the same for my students. I seek to connect with my students, discover their unique talents and gifts, and provide them with an appreciation for language learning in a multicultural world. A few fun things about me...I have a cat named Rumplestiltskin, I was a beatboxer in an a cappella group in college, and I love to travel!

Keeping Our School Healthy

Please remember that if your child is exhibiting any symptoms related to COVID-19, including sniffles, cough, stomach ache, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. he/she should stay home. We ask that those who are ill with COVID symptoms be tested regardless of the individual's vaccine status prior to his/her return.
