2023
It's almost that time!

Our Pre-K students were given a St. Therese Church tour by Father Jeff. They were shown all around the church and even in the back room where most kids don't get to go. We were able to come to mass for the first time during the celebration of St. Therese's feast day! What fun!

Notes from the Athletic Board
UNIFORM RETURN:
Do you have old St Therese uniforms at your house? We need those back! We are missing a high number of uniforms from previous seasons of volleyball and basketball. We are hoping to have a lot of players for Winter Basketball, and we need to make sure we have enough uniforms for our teams.
If you have any jerseys sitting around the house please bring them back to the school office so we can wash them and prepare them for the upcoming season.
WINTER BASKETBALL
We plan to open basketball registration next week. If you are interested in coaching please reach out to us, we are going to have a great turnout and plan to have teams at every grade level of possible. Please contact the AD at athletics@stthereseschool.org
We are so lucky that parents are bringing back the Halloween Bash! This is going to be a fun night for the kids as well as a great opportunity for parents to get some Fair Share Hours.
Want to help with the Halloween Bash? Get some Fair Share Hours?

What's happening in 1st Grade?
First graders have been doing a great job working cooperatively with one another in small groups. In the photos, they are learning to communicate and share in small groups in various subjects. - Mrs. Estes, 1st Grade Teacher

* Returning altar servers are required to attend in order to serve for the 2023/2024 school year.

Every year the Catholic high schools in our area host an Open House for prospective families. These events are wonderful opportunities for families to tour our campus, speak with teachers and administrators, talk with our students, and learn about the opportunities that we provide for our students. In our shared mission of Catholic education, we each hope to showcase Catholic high school during Open House.
The dates for the 2023-24 Open Houses are as follows. For time and location information, visit the high schools’ websites.

Spooky Spider web art - 2nd grade.
To create these beautiful line drawings, 2nd grade students had to really focus on attaching each curve to the next curve, to keep the space between the lines a similar distance apart, and to make sure the belly of the curve was pointing to the centre of the web.
They also learned that the repeated patterns within the web creates are called fractals. (A fractal is a never-ending repetitive pattern) Fractals can also be seen in seashells and snowflakes.
