What does back to school face-to-face/hybrid look like?
On Campus Face-to-face Students (Hybrid Schedule)
September 28th marks the first day for freshmen students whose parents completed the parent survey and chose face-to-face (F2F) instruction. The freshmen students whose parents opted for virtual instruction will not return to campus. Here is more information of what the instructional model will look like for face-to-face students. They will utilize a hybrid model of instruction meaning they will be on campus for instruction two days a week. Your student’s last name will determine which days of the week they will be on campus. Please look at the visual below:
Students with last name A through L will attend face-to-face Monday and Tuesday.
Example #1: Student Adam Apple (last name “A”) will be on campus Monday & Tuesday and learning virtually Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Students with last name M through Z will attend face-to-face Thursday and Friday.
Example #2: Student Mickey Mouse (last name “M”) will start the week learning virtually at home Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and on campus Thursday and Friday.
* Wednesdays are virtual days for all until further notice. THERE WILL BE NO STUDENTS ON CAMPUS. Students will learn asynchronously meaning: Students work remotely from home online alone or in groups without direct teacher supervision to complete engagement assignments for all periods. Teachers have the option to request students to join a Zoom meeting for additional academic support.
What if we chose virtual only?
Stay-At-Home Remote Learners
The freshmen students whose parents opted for only virtual instruction will not return to campus. Here is more information of what the instructional model will look like for virtual learners. Stay-At-Home Remote Learners will continue to receive instruction via Zoom and complete assignments posted in Google Classroom every day of the week. Students will utilize the remote learning model until they opt for in-person instruction. Please look at the visual below:
All Stay-At-Home Remote Learners, regardless of last name, will follow their schedule for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
