Principal's Message
Dear Lincoln Families,
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. We have successfully completed 9 days of school! For those of you new to Lincoln, I would like to welcome you to our family. For those of you returning, I would like to welcome you back.
I will be sending these newsletters out twice a month. Please take the time to read over it as it contains up to date information that is important to your child's success. In addition, at the bottom of the newsletter, you will find the parent handbook. The parent handbook provides you with district and school policies and procedures. If you have any questions, please reach out to the front office and ask.
Our students in 3-6 grade have been busy taking the iREADY Diagnostic assessment. This is a school wide assessment for both English Language Arts and math. In the upcoming weeks, our Kinder-2nd grade students will be taking the assessment as well. I will be sharing the results with you soon enough. Once the results are revealed I will also share our school wide goals. I want to encourage families to support our efforts in reaching our goal! Last school year, we exceeded our school wide goal and grew 33% in ELA and 30% in math! We ended the school year with 44% of our students "Early on Grade Level or Above" in Language Arts and 34% in math. I could not have been more proud of the growth, dedication, and perseverance of our students and staff.
I would like to end by thanking all of the teachers, students and families. Thank you for your support and dedication. Together Everyone Achieves More #TEAM
Don't wish for it...Work for it!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Perry
