Langston's Letters
May 9 - May 13
A Note from the Principal
Dear Langston Hughes Family,
Please enjoy this Mother's Day poem written by our very own Agent Tomlinson, aka Ms. T:
Mother's Day Blessing
A mother's hug lasts long after she lets go.
They hold their children's hands for a short while,
but their hearts forever.
To the world they are a mother,
but to their family they are the world.
They are the bank where we deposited all our hurts and worries.
She learned about strength she didn't know she had.
In everything, the most precious jewels she ever have around her neck,
are the arms of her children...
By Marie Tomlinson
Have a wonderful week and Happy Mother's Day!
