About the Mountain Regions
All for seasons:
In the north Carolina Mountain Regions during fall you should go hike in Looking Glass Rock Trail. During the winter in the NC Mountain Region go and ski in the Appalachian Ski Mountain all day. Go to Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall. If its summer go to the NC zoo.
Weather in the Mountain Regions:
1. About half the days in the Winter half high temperatures up to 50 degrees.
2.Clear skies and warm weather in the day but it is cooler at night in Winter.
3.Temperatures over 80 degrees are rare in the summer.
4.In April about 4 inches of rain come
Landforms in the Mountain Regions:
The landforms in the Mountain Regions are mountains and can be made of rock or regular soil.
Places to visit:
1. Grandfather Mountain is a destination travelers visit. It is the highest peak in the Blue
Ridge Mountains.
2. Tweetsie Railroad is located in the Appalachian Mountains featuring a 3 mile ride on the historic railroad.
3.Blowing Rock is North Carolina's oldest travel attraction since 1933 and is a cliff 4000 feet above sea level.
4.Mystery Hill is a family entertainment center.

2. 88 miles of the Appalachian Trail wind through the NC Mountains.
