1st Hawker Junior Girl Guides
Weekly Newsletter 2 2016
Week 2, Term 1 2016...
Just a reminder that we like the girls to be at the hall by 5:20pm so that we can start on time which really helps us to finish on time.
If you need to speak to me about fees, forms, uniforms, badges or any other issue it is best if you can come a bit earlier or catch me after the meeting. I can usually stay for half an hour after the meeting is over (except for the 2nd Thursday of every month when I have a Region meeting that need to attend that starts at 7pm in Yarralumla).
The girls should be in their Guide uniforms including sash, covered shoes and hat. They should also bring their Guide bag with badge books and handbook if they can.
What's happening this week?
I think the girls all had a great time ice blocking last week... I hope that they weren't too wet in the car home afterwards!
This week we will be using our imaginations outside to create some artwork. Please make sure that they are wearing covered shoes to go walking outside and if it looks like it is going to rain it would be great if the girls could bring a raincoat.
Bilby and I are working hard on incorporating the girls ideas into our term plans. We are hoping to have a full program for Terms 1 and 2 for distribution this week.
