The Parthenon is located in Athens, Greece. It's foundation is made of limestone while the columns are made of Pentelic marble. It was under construction from 447-432 BCE and uses both Ionic and Doric architecture styles.

The original building that was being constructed where the Parthenon was burned down by the Persians in 480 B.C. The Parthenon wasn't finished until 432 B.C.E. almost 50 years later.
