Good morning Spartans,

I hope you had a great weekend and were able to enjoy this late winter weather with some hot coffee or hot chocolate. Although it's been a chilly las couple of weeks, we are well into the spring semester at the Home of Champions. Our first progress reporting period of the semester closed last Friday and grades are posted today. Spring sports have kicked off and we have a new addition to our sports offerings at CVH, Girls Beach Volleyball! We are excited to see how our student-athletes will do this season, and are fired up about providing our female athletes another opportunity to compete and represent the Home of Champions.

We are also excited to announce that our spring SCPA season is also underway. This week we start our performance of Disney's musical "Freaky Friday", and as you all know, our students always deliver!! We also have a combined concert put on by our CVH and CVM Band and Orchestra and our Winter Folklorico Showcase this week. Hopefully you have time to come and support our amazing students at one of our many games or performances this week.

Our fist progress report of the semester will be Monday February 27th, 2023. Please log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to access student grades.

Spartan Students we invite you to join Chula Vista High School's After School Programs! All programs are available for FREE! You can also stop by and have some fun at the Vault located in the Youth Center. The Vault has pool, air hockey, foosball, PS4, Switch, arcade games and more!!!!! **EVERYTHING IS FREE!!!!!!!**

Our morning hours will be from 7:15-8:15 AM (students will need to enter through Youth Center entrance at 465 L Street).

Our afternoon hours will be from 3:39-5:30 PM every day. We are also open during 7th/8th period for those students who are unscheduled.
