Stunning stars
the "big dipper" about stars
Introduction
In this article you will learn about stars. (not the pop stars, famous stars super stars...etc It is about stars you see at night). You will also learn about the sun, constellations, the life cycle of stars and some other cool and awesome stuff.
Look its the sun!
The sun is helpful to Earth and
other things in our galaxy,but
did you Know it was a star? The
sun is made of 72% hydrogen,
and 26% helium. If the sun was
any closer we would burn. If the
sun was any farther we would
freeze. The sun is perfect were
it is. One day, the sun may blow up and
turn into a black whole. All the planets
orbit around the sun. The sun is
very inportant.
Connect the dots
Constellations are groups of stars that make an object in the sky that we can see from Earth. Some of the constellations are called Orion or Hercules, Orion's belt...etc. These constellations were named by Greek people. If you look up in the night sky you may find a constellation. Constellations are fascinating when you see them.
Try rocketing to this!
The closest star system to us
is Alpha Centauri, but it is still
4.3 light years away. The closest
star to us in Alpha Centauri
is Proxima Centauri. Proxima Centauri
is like any other star but it is closer.
If you try to spot Proxima Centauri
you will not have good luck. (P.S
I lied, the closest star to Earth is
the Sun tee hee hee!).
Life Cycle Of Stars
All stars are born by eagle nebulas which, are clouds of hydrogen, gas, and dust. Some of the younger stars shine way brighter than the sun. When stars get older, they cool off, swell up, and turn red. These older stars are called red giants. Red giants become very active, and give off dangerous gasses. "One day, the sun may turn into a red giant and give off violent gasses."--Ethan Willmann
