Dear Parents / Carers,

What a long and busy first half term we have had! I think everybody is ready for a break over half term.

Thank you to all the parents and carers that have attended the consultation meetings held this week. 95% of pupils had at least one adult come to hear how they have settled into the school year and how they are progressing so that is a fantastic turn out. As always, if you do have any concerns about your child then please speak to their class teacher in the first instance. Appointments can be made through the school office and you don't need to wait for parents' evening.

Next week is half term and the children return to school on Tuesday 7th November ready to start lessons at 8:45am. Gates open from 8:35am.

Have a lovely half term

Winning Team

Well done to Rupert and Alexa and their team the Purple Typhoons who are our winners this week.

This week we have had a competition across school to see which class was putting in the most effort with their maths homework. It was great to see everyone really stepping up their maths practise and almost all classes have increased their participation this week. The worthy winners were Jean-King class! They will enjoy their free playtime on our first day back after half term. Well done!

Our Numbots superstars this week are Nancy P, Bertie J, Archie H-V, Elin C, Elyssia M and Evie K. Our Rockstars of the Week are Emma E, Luke W, Mollie H, Evelyn A and Erin N. Well done everyone!

Message from Head Pupils

We have had a great half term, with lots of wonderful learning taking place across the school. It's been a quiet week but exciting things often happen in the Christmas term. We hope you have a great time with your children and enjoy the week break.

Head Pupil Awards go to Cecily C and Jonah C.

Y5/Y6 Anti-Bullying Workshop Performance, Thursday 16th November

The second week back after half term is anti-bullying week and we are delighted to have the Konflux Theatre company coming into school on Thursday 16th November to work with our children in year 5 and year 6. They will be doing workshops with the classes, looking at how issues can be resolved through support from peers and adults. This will build towards a performance that parents and carers are warmly invited to. This will start at 14:50 in the school hall.
