McAnally Weekly April 1st
Your weekly update on all things McAnally!
The Principal's Note
It has been a short but solid week at McAnally! No school Friday, so please enjoy the three day weekend and time with your family and friends.
Congrats to our Read Across Aledo winners and a big thank you to our PTO and all the support they provide for us. It is so awesome to know that we have the backing of the PTO and AEF. Both organizations have been a huge support this year.
We will see you Monday!

Back in the classroom, students will evaluate the purpose of utilizing graphics to communicate information to support a claim. We will end the week analyzing a news article about the controversial topic of the impact of social networking. Afterwards, the students will debate the positives and negatives of social media which will set us up for our EA 1. Please check in with your student to make sure they are completing their Lexia minutes and Quill assignments on SpringBoard digital.

This week in math students will begin working on our data and statistics unit. They will learn how to summarize data using the mean, median, mode, and range. They will work on interpreting dot plots, stem and leaf plots, and histograms.
