History of computing
In this topic we are learning about the history of computing and computer components.
Drive
A drive is software that allows your computer to communicate with hardware or devices. Without drivers, the hardware you connect to your computer for example, a video card or a webcam will not work properly.
CPU's
A CPU stands for a central processing unit. You are probably wondering what is actually does, it is the electronic circuit in your computer that carries out the instructions of the computer program that you are running.
For example, when you play a game and you type in a certain commands the computer will run through a do what you asked.

PCI
PCI is short for Peripheral Component Interconnect, a local bus standard developed by Intel Corporation. Most modern PCs include a PCI bus in addition to a more general ISA expansion bus. PCI is also used on some versions of the Macintosh computer.
Computer Battery
A battery is a hardware component that supplies power to a device, enabling that device to work without a power cord Batteries are often capable of powering alatop computer for several hours depending on how much power it requires. Today, many high-end devices such as computer laptops and phones use rechargeable batteries that allow a user to recharge the battery once depleted of energy. In the picture below, is an example of what a laptop battery may look like when removed from the laptop with a close-up of the battery rating.
Motherboards
A Motherboard is also known as a MB,mainboard, mobo, mobd, backplane board
