COVID Reminders & Thank You!

What happens in our community impacts learning for students in our schools. Let’s continue supporting each other, practicing healthy habits and making sure everyone stays safe in our Elida school community. We can help control the spread of COVID-19 through what we do every single day. Thank you to everyone for continuing to be diligent in following the guidelines.

From the Athletic Department: New OHSAA COVID Document Required

There is a new OHSAA Medical Authorization form for any student-athlete that has been infected with Covid-19. This documentation is mandatory for any positive 7th-12th grade athlete to return to play. The form can be turned in to the MS/HS office prior to return to practice, conditioning, competition, etc. This form will need to be signed by a medical doctor. The form can be found HERE and on the athletic website under documents/student athlete section. If you have any questions, please call the Athletic Office at 419-331-2580.

Parents Reminder: Keep Your Contact Information Current

Parent/Guardian Reminder: It's important to keep your contact information up-to-date so you can be reached through the Bulldog Text and Voice Alerts System. Alerts keep you informed by the district regarding delays, cancellations and other reminders. If your phone number, e-mail or EMERGENCY CONTACTS have CHANGED be sure to let us know. You can e-mail bulldogalert@elida.k12.oh.us with the new details. You can also call the offices, too. Thank you.

Annual Breakfast Club Poinsettia Sale

"Pandemic Hope & Resilience" Workshops

This pandemic has touched everyone’s life and the prolonged stress of the uncertainty is taking a toll. Cornerstone of Hope Lima invites you to take part in Pandemic Hope & Resilience Virtual Workshop that can help to provide psychoeducation to help with mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. ALUMNI NEWS: Dakota Mathias Signs with Philadelphia 76ers

Some great news today for Elida 2014 graduate Dakota Mathias who reportedly has signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. Mathias, 25, played for the Texas Legends last year, where he averaged 18.1 points and 3.1 assists per game, shooting 39.5% on 8.9 three-point attempts per game.Read more in this link. Lima Community Church shares a Generous, Caffeinated Surprise

Staff at the elementary enjoyed a generous gift from the Lima Community Church on Wednesday. Teachers and staff enjoyed a surprise coffee treat. Thank you to Lima Community & Curbside Coffee! Be A Bulldog Sprit Wear Sale

The PBIS program is promoting "Be a Bulldog" Spirit Wear. Order forms were sent home with students last week and a digital copy of the order form is linked HERE. (t-shirts and Elida masks, too.) All order forms (along with payment) are due to your student's main office by December 1. We anticipate order delivery on December 22, just in time for Christmas! Free Parent Workshop: Guiding Good Choices

Guiding Good Choices is a 5-session, nationally recognized parenting program. It teaches effective family communication & bonding and gives parents of children ages 9-14 the skills they need to help their children steer clear of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Band Boosters Designer Purse Online Raffle

The Elida Band Boosters have an Online Designer Purse Raffle coming up! Raffle for two beautiful satchels: Red Michael Kors and a Black DKNY. Tickets are $5 ea or three for $10. The drawing will be Live on the Elida Local Schools Band Facebook page on Dec. 7th at 8 pm. Thank you for your support of our student musicians. Full details on the flyer linked below.

Elementary Construction Update

Toys For Tots Donations Accepted

Elida High School is collecting new toys for the Toys for Tots campaign. If you would like to donate, please bring your toy to either office and place it in the box. The boxes will be collected the week of December 7th .
