The Freshman Friendly - Team 2022
May 2019
Welcome Parents/Guardians
Happy Friday! Can you believe the 2018-2019 school year is coming to a close? Students are getting excited for the summer weather and break. As we work to keep students focused and prepare them for final exams, we ask that you encourage your student to get their rest and manage their time wisely for the next couple of weeks. Team 2022 thanks you for a GREAT freshman year!

Assistant Principal Team 2022
Very Important!!! Registration for next year (2019-2020)
Registration has been open for ALL CURRENT STUDENTS of Brownsburg Community School Corporation. Registration was to be completed by May 20th so we could verify your student would be returning for the 2019-2020 school year. If you did not register your student, we will assume he/she will not be returning to BHS in the fall. ALL students planning to return to BHS in the fall must be registered.
HBCU's - Lawrence North High School, May 21st from 6:00pm - 8:30pm
Yearbook Pick-up
Yearbooks will be distributed during lunch on Friday, May 24 right outside the café. If your student is absent the day of distribution, he or she can pick it up in the team office. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Adler at kadler@brownsburg.k12.in.us.
Please: NO Appointments During Final Exams
Because our students have asked for more time to prepare for exams and to not have four exams on one day, we have created a new schedule that will be implemented this year. ALL students will finish class on Thursday and Friday at 11am and will be dismissed from BHS at this time. Students driving, walking, or riding with a peer/guardian can leave directly at the 11am dismissal, and students riding a bus home will head to their bus at dismissal. Students will have the option of grabbing lunch in the main building cafe prior to leaving.
Please remember that we do not offer early final exams, and attendance on these days is critical as final exams are worth 20% of your student's semester grades.
Reminder: In order to maintain the integrity of the testing environment, we will not be able to call into/or interrupt a classroom to get a student. Please do not schedule appointments for your student on May 28th - 31st. Students are expected to remain in their classrooms for the duration of each period.
Students will NOT travel to EMS to take Final Exams
Students who travel to EMS for daily classes will NOT travel to EMS to take Final Exams, Tuesday May 28th thru Friday May 31st. EMS teachers will be at BHS to administer Final Exams. ***Students will be dismissed at 11am on both Thursday May 30th and Friday May 31st.***
