Community Update
August 12, 2016
Dear Community Members:
We are nearing the start of the school year, and there are a number of announcements for you.
For those of you who may be new to the area, the Pemberville Free Fair starts next Wednesday night and runs through next Saturday. I recently spoke with the Mayor of Pemberville, and they are very excited about this year's fair. I look forward to the fair every year for many reasons, but mainly to see former students and their parents. It is truly a homecoming type event!

This year we have purchased the Asus Flip Chromebook which has a touch screen and can function like a tablet as well as a laptop. It will be different in that it does not use Windows, but they are very functional with a much better price point. Those who have used them have had high praise for the devices.
EASTWOOD PRIDE T-SHIRT SALE
The Eastwood Girl’s Basketball team is selling “Eastwood Pride” t-shirts as a fundraiser. They are not sports or year specific which is very nice. The sale has been extended to August 20th.
