From the Administrator
Hi everyone!
Welcome to this week's CRC newsletter! Here you will find time-sensitive announcements, events, service schedules, offering schedules, our prayer list and even a link to our bulletin "NEWS". I will send these out each week, typically on Thursdays. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
Have a great weekend and see you on Sunday!
In Christ,
Nancy - Church Office Administrator
Sunday morning text: Romans 13:8-14
ALL are welcome to come to a HYMN SING next Sunday, February 10, at 6 pm in our sanctuary. Refreshments will follow.
John and Marge Duyst have moved to The Remington (2727 N. 11th Ave.) and are in Apt. 128. Please pray for them as they adjust to this new living arrangement.
Tuesday morning Bible study will begin February 19. We will be studying “It’s Not Supposed to be this Way” by Lysa Terkeurst. In this six-session video Bible study, Lysa offers a safe place to share your disappointments, fresh biblical insight to get you through painful situations, and life-giving perspectives for living in between Eden and eternity.
GEMS Annual Soup Supper will be on Wednesday, February 27 from 5-7pm in the Social Hall. Soup flavors will be Chili, Clam Chowder and Chicken Tortilla. This is our main fundraiser and we would appreciate your support by bringing friends, enjoying delicious soup and fellowship.
"In House" New City Catechism - All parents with at least one child between the ages of 3 and 6th grade are invited to take part in our new venture together! Be sure to download the app (search "New City Catechism APP") on your phone, tablet or other electronic device. The lesson this week will be Since no one can keep the law, what is its purpose?

Work As Worship Conference: We might spend two hours of our week at church or in a small group. This kind of worship is biblical and a vital rhythm in the life of a Christian. But during the other 166 hours of our week, we have just as much potential to worship the God who created us.
Join us for a Work As Worship Retreat on February 22, 2019. This LiveStream event by RightNow Media is all about helping people realize that there isn’t a divide between the sacred and secular parts of our lives. Working with our God-given skills can be an act of worship.
The event will begin at 7:30 AM ending at 2:30 PM. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Guest speakers: Francis Chan, Megan Alexander, Jon Acuff, Jeffrey Wright, Helen Mitchell, Steve Green, Andrew Wexler, Chris Patton.
