High Reliability Schools Survey
PARENTS PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO COMPLETE THIS SURVEY
During the 2018-19 school year, Grand Forks Public Schools and Red River High School started to work towards becoming a High Reliability School. High Reliability Schools or HRS provides a framework for our school's continuous improvement process. From the research of Dr. Robert Marzano, a High Reliability School "takes proactive steps to prevent failure and ensure success by monitoring the effectiveness of critical factors within the system and immediately takes action to contain the negative effects".
In the Spring of 2019, Red River High School earned certification in HRS Level 1: A Safe and Collaborative School Culture. This year we will move forward towards Level 2, Effective Teaching in Every Classroom, but we are still committed to revisit HRS Level 1. Last year, RRHS Principal, Dr. Kris Arason had students, parents, and staff complete surveys to measure our effectiveness in Level 1. This year, we are asking parents and teachers to take a survey to revisit where we stand with school safety and a collaborative culture at Red River High School. Please take a few minutes of your time to complete the attached survey. This survey will be closed Friday, December 6.
Thank you for your cooperation and support of Red River High School.
Sincerely,
Tony Bina
RRHS Associate Principal
